It’s amazing the difference a hairstyle change can make and EastEnders legend Michelle Collins is no exception.
The 59-year-old star looks almost unrecognizable in a hot pink wig as she prepares to play a sex worker in a new film.
Speaking to Instagram on Sunday afternoon, the actress – who played Cindy Beale on EastEnders in the ’80s and’ 90s and Stella Price on Coronation Street from 2011 to 2014 – surprised fans with her new look, reports the MirrorOnline.

She posed with pink cotton candy locks falling around her ears and shoulders as her bright blue eyes peeked out between the interstices of her long bangs.
The star also wore a dramatic collar in her selfie photo and a black leather coat.
She hinted that her new look was due to a new role as she added a series of hashtags to her post.
The long list of associated words and phrases included: “#pinkhair #loveit. # Badass #filming #nightshoot #ladyofthenight #freezing #cardiff but beautiful #crew #cast. # Keepingmewarm.”
Michelle is believed to be playing a role in a new drama, as The Sun reported that she was in Wales filming “a role playing a prostitute”.
Meanwhile, the new hair appeared to be only temporary – as she later shared a selfie of her traveling on a train, with her iconic blonde hair back in place.
Fans responded to her pink wig look to share positive comments.
One fan wrote in the comments section of her Instagram post, “You are amazing,” alongside a flame emoji and a heart emoji.
While another fan gushed, “Ooh, I love this color,” while also adding a flame emoji.
Turning out to be something of a style chameleon, Michelle has proven that she can still teach today’s young people a thing or two about getting attention – having once criticized young soap actresses for being so sexy. looked too similar.
She told the Mirror last year: “There’s a kind of uniform look in a lot of young people in a lot of soaps.
“We lack individual appearance in a way. These are the times we live in.
“When I was growing up I was a punk and there was a big music scene and there were a lot of different cultures.”
Michelle added, “All the girls look alike now. I’m not saying that in a derogatory way, but soap stars all look alike.”
While Michelle worked in Wales, she also took care of family duties while she was in the country.
Addressing Instagram earlier on Sunday, she wrote: “#filming #cardiff loves the train so much.
#letthetraintakethestrain #greatwesternrailway. “
She continued: “I will also scatter the mums ashes in #pontypridd tomorrow she was born! # Excited. This is what she wanted,” and added: “I just found out that she actually is born in #Aberdare. “
