GEMMA Collins was all smiles as she showed up to the final show of her Big Night Out tour in Newcastle.
Gemma, 41, put on a brave face in the casual black silk pajama ensemble and her hair in curlers after spending the night evacuated from her hotel room.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star waved to fans outside the Newcastle theater as she showed up in half make-up and hair.
She carried her phone charger and a bottle of water as she headed backstage.
Gemma looked radiant given that she was woken up and quickly evacuated from her hotel at 5.30am the same morning in Cardiff after an emergency sparked chaos.
The reality TV personality is currently performing on a live Big Night Out tour across the country.
Filming her security guard walking down the stairs of the building, Gemma said: “Guys you couldn’t write it down. It’s half past five in the morning.
“After my performance last night, I went to have a little dinner, came home and was woken up this morning by a fire alarm.
“We got the green light at the hotel.
“I’m really glad everyone is okay and it’s a false alarm.”
While waiting to return to her hotel room after the fire alarm, Gemma and her bodyguard had a cup of tea.
“Everyone is safe…” she reassured fans, before moaning, “I have to be up in a few hours.”
The evacuation came amid an emotional week for the star who broke down on stage about his father’s battle with Covid that left him fighting for his life.
Alan was rushed to hospital in January 2021 before being placed in intensive care where he needed round-the-clock support to help him breathe.
Luckily, he pulled through, but he’s now taking things a lot slower to help his recovery.
Fighting back tears on stage at Troxy in east London, Gemma said: “You know what?
“When my dad was in the hospital – and I’m not just saying he was the only guy in the hospital because I know a lot of families went through a terrible time – but I never thought about that moment where he had a fan on him that this moment would come.”
Breaking down regular reality TV stopped to wipe away tears as the crowd cheered in support.
Gemma continued: “No, I’m so happy. I’m not sad.
“I’m so happy and you should never take life or anyone for granted because it can go that way.
“When dad walked in tonight I was like ‘thank god’ – this man went through hellish times but he was able to come to the show tonight. That’s the kind of stuff I want to share.”
