Mark Owen Explains New Hairstyle As Lorraine Kelly Says He Looks Like Forrest Gump’s Character

Lorraine viewers were shocked at how different Mark Owen looked when he appeared on the ITV show this morning, June 14 – some fans of the show said he looked like Keith Lemmon.

Former Take That star Mark Owen appeared on Lorraine on Tuesday morning to talk behind the scenes of his new album Land of Dreams. The singer, songwriter will make his US debut with a performance on The Late Late Show.

Owen told Ross King, who interviewed him on the show “I feel like Elvis Presley”.

King asked Owen about the new look that got fans talking. Mark, 50, said: “The hair started growing during the pandemic and I got very attached to it. No, I don’t want to get a cut.”

Lorraine was heard commenting on the revival, she said, “The new look reminds me of someone, remember Lt. Dan from Forest Gump? I think they look so alike.”

Lorraine viewers weren’t too convinced by the former Take That star’s look. Some fans have said he bears a resemblance to Celebrity Juice presenter Keith Lemon, who is known for his rugged looks.
