Trent Alexander-Arnold shows off new braided hair style as England star speeds recovery from heartache from Euro 2020 injury

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD has revealed his new braided hair style as he continues to recover from an injury.

The Liverpool full-back suffered a thigh problem during England’s Euro 2020 warm-up game against Austria, a blow that ultimately ruled him out of the tournament.

But he looked in a good mood as he posted Instagram photos with his new hairstyle.

Alexander-Arnold also appeared to be still in supreme condition despite his injury.

And he’s shown he continues to recover as he lifts weights for his social media followers to see.

Immediately after being kicked out of Euro 2020, Alexander Arnold simply posted: “Absolutely gutted.”

When Alexander-Arnold got injured but before he was kicked out of the Euro, England boss Southgate said: “We’ll just have to see, it’s not a good sign to see him go like he did, then we’ll know more in the next 24 or 48 hours.

“We don’t know the full extent, so the last thing you want is to see him come out the way he did.”

The initial inclusion of Alexander-Arnold in Southgate’s final 26-man squad was one of the main talking points leading up to the tournament.

The Three Lions manager has rather controversially chosen four right-backs from his squad ahead of the Liverpool man’s injury.

The other three – Kieran Trippier, Reece James and Kyle Walker – have all been used at Euro so far.

Walker played right-back for the wins over Croatia and the Czech Republic, with Chelsea’s James coming in for the draw against Scotland.

Meanwhile, Trippier surprisingly got the go-ahead at left-back for England’s opener against Croatia ahead of Luke Shaw and Ben Chilwell.

The Southgate men will return to Wembley for their last 16 tied games on Tuesday.
